Welcome to DNSP (Digital Neighborhood Security Platform). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application, website, and services. Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DNSP, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Service

DNSP is a digital platform that connects Service Providers (security companies) with Service Users (residents and establishments) to facilitate neighborhood security management, including:

Patrol tracking and management
Incident reporting and tracking
Emergency alert systems
Communication between stakeholders
Analytics and reporting

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use our services, you must:

Create an account with accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

3.2 Account Types

Service Provider (S/P): Security companies providing services
Service User (S/U): Residents and establishments using security services
Guard: Security personnel employed by Service Providers
Admin: Platform administrators

3.3 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must not share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access to your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Violate any laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights
Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Impersonate any person or entity
Collect or harvest user information without consent
Use automated systems to access the service without permission
Submit false or misleading information
Harass, abuse, or harm other users

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Subscription Plans

Service Providers must subscribe to a plan to access premium features. Subscription plans are billed monthly and automatically renew unless cancelled.

5.2 Payment Terms

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways
All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
Failed payments may result in service suspension

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for the current period.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the platform. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it as necessary to provide our services.

6.2 Our Content

All content, features, and functionality of DNSP are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Location Data and Privacy

Our service uses location data for features such as patrol tracking and incident reporting. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of location data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may:

Perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service
Modify or discontinue features with notice
Suspend accounts that violate these Terms

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DNSP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Security incidents or breaches beyond our reasonable control
Third-party actions or content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DNSP, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Content you submit to the platform

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if:

You violate these Terms
You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
You fail to pay subscription fees
Required by law or court order

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through:

Negotiation: Good faith negotiation for 30 days
Mediation: If negotiation fails, mediation through a mutually agreed mediator
Arbitration: If mediation fails, binding arbitration under Indian Arbitration laws

The venue for any legal proceedings shall be Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DNSP regarding the use of our services.
